What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas

So I finally experienced my first full-fledged Vegas Vacation. And let me tell you what a blast it was. I, WE, were spoiled. I don't think I can ever go back under "normal" circumstances. I don't even know where or how to begin to describe it.

Fawn and I took off after work Friday night and got in around 9:30 p.m. It wasn't as bad/long of a drive as we thought it would be. We then, to sum up the night, partied at Rok Vegas in the NY NY hotel and went to bed around 5 a.m. - only after Chrissy and I searched for food. We ended up with a slice of pizza. :-)

We then slept till DeDe came and pounded on our door. Miss Fawn had to sleep a little while longer while the rest of us went to The Mirage to enjoy their buffet. We didn't realize how far of a walk it was from the MGM Grand.....

We stopped along the way and watched the water show at the Bellagio
which was so cool. I had missed that when mom and I drove through on our road trip to California.

After eating, I put $5 in the $1 slot machine and won $45! Before thinking twice (well maybe) I hit "Cash Out." I then played a little Roulette with DeDe. I went in with $10 and left the table with $10...so no loss there. That was it for gambling this trip. Well except for time spent at the high rollers tables playing Black Jack. BUT, I'll discuss that experience at Christmas (yes, i'm talking to you. hahaha).

So then Saturday night we went out for dinner and went back to Rok Vegas. But soon it was time to call it a night again. So we pulled up to the hotel, got out of the limo and the sun was shining. Needless to say, we did the walk of shame. People were actually in lines to get cabs to go to the airport and we were just getting back to go to bed. It was crazy! But so much fun! Oh then we decided to get breakfast. By then it all hit me, and I was so ready to go to bed. I slept for probably 4 hours before Fawn and I had to head back to San Diego. It was one of the longest drives home. I went to bed at 8 p.m., got up this morning and went to work. This past weekend feels like a dream. A REALLY GOOD DREAM!
