One dish, one plate, one piece of pie (I did good)

I had a nice, relaxing Thanksgiving Day and weekend. My pudding dessert didn't turn out though because I bought the cook and serve....not the instant pudding. Thankfully I had another dish to prepare — hash brown casserole. It was scrumptious.

I watched all of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Then I made my casserole and got ready to begin feasting. As you can see above, we had quite a group! There was plenty of food, but not enough to take home for leftovers (people ate later in the night.)

After stuffing ourselves, we played some Apples to Apples and Rock Band. I called it a night around 10:30 p.m. Friday was another lazy day and preparation for the Celine Dion concert. I'll upload some of those photos tomorrow.

On the way home from the concert in Anaheim, we stopped at the local tree farm (a parking lot in Pacific Beach) to buy our Christmas tree. Our house is now filled with the heavenly scent of pine. :-)

Only three more weeks till Christmas now. It's crunch time here at work. We have our biggest issue of the year to get out before we leave on the 23rd.  Deep breaths.
