Day 23: The eve of Christmas Eve

Well I was up at the butt crack of dawn this morning. That's 5 a.m. And instead of trying to go back to sleep, I got up and packed my suitcase. Now I pretty much just have to run through everything when I get home to make sure all is accounted for. Huh. Go ME. 

With that being said, I was also the first person at work when I'm usually the last. Not because I'm a slacker mind you, but because most of my comrades get up at the butt crack of dawn on a daily basis. Anyways, this means I can hopefully get out of here early. Hooray! It's the eve of Christmas Eve.

I just tasted the pot of coffee I made. It's not too good. Plus I think I put too much sugar in my cup. Yuk. But I'm still drinking it.... Why? I don't know. It's Christmas!

I'm feeling better today. Just still a little stuffy. 

But in that I believe in signs, my horoscope has disturbed me a bit:

Misinformation might spread throughout your extended family, or your near neighborhood, causing a lot of unnecessary upsets among those involved. Don't accept any gossip or rumor you hear today as fact, Michelle, until you check it out yourself. It could turn out to be a tempest in a teapot! This is not a good time either to take or start planning a trip of any kind. Delays or mishaps could result. 

I'm going to consider that this message is talking about a possible trip during the first week in July, not tonight's trip to Georgia. 

I'm feeling quite relaxed. I really tried to get started early buying presents this year, and getting the things I needed for the trip. And now that I'm actually already packed. Well, it's just crazy.
