Sunday is really the best day of the week. It's got its own 'feeling' and its own 'smell.' It says to me, "Michelle, rest and enjoy this glorious day of laziness." And that's what I am doing.
But the anticipation of Twilight coming out on DVD and my craving for pizza did have me venturing out into the wilderness (crazy Sunday shoppere...) So I stopped by my local Target. Put more than I came to get in my cart, and then re-put things back on shelves on my way up to the register. It ALWAYS happens that way! I did though buy a microwave. Living in the stone ages, even for just a week, was getting pretty hard.
I am going a little coo coo with the color schemes I have in mind for my new bachelorette pad. More so for the living room and then my bedroom. I have now dubbed my living room the Green Room. Yes, I did purchase a Green sofa bed at Ashley Furniture. It's really beautiful, but even as I was leaving the store, I still couldn't believe what I did. It arrives this Friday along with an ottoman and a tv stand. Ok so that's the main color of the living room - accompanied by sea blue accents.
My bedroom is going to be pink and purple with my dark wood bedroom furniture and then the accents are going to be daisies (art).
To complete the other rooms, my bathroom is oceany or so that you are supposed to get the feeling that you are at the beach (that's what I want my living room to feel like also.) The kitchen's accent color is red accompanied by white and black appliences. (The stove and fridge being white. Other appliances are black.)
Ummmm just had to take a pause there cause something crashed in the kitchen.... The covering to the overhead cieling light just fell off. Great. Good thing I wasn't standing under it...though it is only plastic. Geez! Well here we go. New place. New little problems.
Alright time for pizza and a movie. Cheers to a lazy Sunday!!
