(I told everyone to do a funny pose...well Wendy and I were the only ones who really got it. :-) This is just me and "some" of the magazine crew at the beach cleanup.)
Yesterday was my two-year work anniversary. Two whole years! Wow.
This morning the work crew headed down to Ocean Beach for our official launch event of the new magazine. We did a beach cleanup with I Love A Clean San Diego. All in all it was a good time. Some community members also showed up to help.
Funny thing happened...since it is such a small world... The wife of an older couple that I met is from Wisconsin. Of all places in the whole United States, I swear more people come from Wisconsin. She even had family from Appleton, and she graduated from UW-Steven's Point. We laughed and talked about the cold. I told her mom and dad recently shipped back down to Georgia.
It's hard focusing on actual work after spending a couple hours at the beach. But this Mountain Dew is helping. :-) We took a lot of pictures. I'll post some tomorrow of us all in our fun new shirts.

Why do you think you meet so many people FROM Wisconsin? It's too cold for toooo long!! I love my 93 degree weather in Georgia. Mom is not as thrilled with it as I am, but it is better than freezing. Two more days!!!! Don't bring any long sleeve shirts or pants.
