(Downtown San Diego after dinner)
Josh and his friend Eric arrived in one piece to sunny San Diego Wednesday morning. Unfortunately I had to head back to work after dropping them off at my apartment. But I pointed the way to Ocean Beach, which is about 1.7 miles away. They walked it and said it was the longest walk ever. I laughed and said, "At least you got your exercise for the day." :) It's the closest beach to my apartment. They went to Mission Beach yesterday.
I'll keep ya'll updated on the goings-on for the weekend. Saturday we're heading up to LA for the day to see "the stars." Sunday is San Diego Zoo day, and on Monday I'm taking them on their greatest adventure yet — kayaking and snorkeling at La Jolla Shores where they will get an up-close encounter with sea lions and other sea creatures. Josh is a little scared. I told him to man up. I just know they are going to LOVE IT! :)
