Take me out to the theatre

It's a warm 65 or so degrees here right now. I wish it was a little bit cooler. 

Went to see The Lion King last night at the San Diego Civic Theatre. I had bought the tickets for Shawn's birthday back in June. It was a great show, but wish the seats were closer. It was hard to see the costumes. Really, if I'm being TRUTHFULLY honest, it wasn't one of my favorite shows. :(

BUT, I'm still happy I went to see it. Some shows you just need to pay the extra money to be closer to the stage. But also the guy that played the grown-up Simba wasn't a good singer - as far as singer's I've heard from all the shows I've been too. There are a lot more shows coming this next year that I want to see, so I'm doing some early recruiting. No takers for Legally Blonde yet. Darnit!

It's 4 p.m. Friday and my work computer is finally fixed. It's been acting up (like a small child, yes) since I got back on Tuesday. I've had this command station up and running on my desk - using one computer to check email and the other to work in Word and print. It was a pain. TGIF.

Trish made cupcakes today for Boss's Day. She's a suck up and I told her so. :) I ate one cupcake. Just one. It was chocolate with chocolate frosting and it was soooooo good. I'm going to see if there is one more.....
