It's been quite a first week as a dog owner. It's amazing how all your attention goes to this one thing — a puppy, which is pretty close to a baby. He's a really good puppy. It's amazing how smart he is... I mean look, he can even wink. Hahaha! I'll admit I was kind of in a little shock/daze for a couple hours this past Saturday when I brought him home. He threw up in PetCo, and I thought maybe he was already dying. Each day got better and better. The vet said he has a good heart and lungs, but that I needed to watch out for his little nose because he could get a sunburn. Do they make sunscreen for dogs?
We're really busy at work. We have two magazines to publish at the same time and our deadline is in one week. I'm already looking forward to the weekend. Next weekend I'll be traveling to Tuscan, AZ, to visit my grandparents who are vacationing in the area for a couple weeks. I'm excited to see them, but hope it's not too hot. I don't like really hot.

This is the perfect time of year to visit TucsOn. Desert flowers are in bloom, and no humidity or 100 degree weathr yet!!! We visited Grandma pAFF IN sUN cITY EVERY YEAR DURING OUR sPRING BREAK. Love the dog already, can't wait to meet him. He reminds me of the chocolate Springer Spaniel we had in Peachtree City- his name was Boozer. Uncle Todd & I named him. Wonder where we got that name from!!!
