What a morning

I'm officially losing brain cells at a faster rate. I don't know if it's just because I'm getting older or because of this new addition to my family. For the first time in my LIFE, I locked myself out of my house. I was leaving for work just like every other morning. I locked the main door — shut it — looked to my left hand to grab my door key... NOTHING. I forgot to crab my keys on my way out. Thankfully, a friend has a spare key to my apartment in case of emergencies such as these. Well this friend was in a deep sleep with the cell phone on silent. No help to me and Cody. So we walked. The friend is in walking distance by a mile or so. But Cody is not properly trained yet on walking long distances. He still has to smell everything. We didn't have time for smelling. So part of the way I had to carry him.

Needless to say, it was an interesting morning. I was only 15 minutes late to work. Cody got a good walk in right away. And I feel like I had some exercise. Score for both of us.
