Last night I dreamt there was a tsunami, and in another dream there was a fire. The tsunami dream might have stemmed from a panel discussion I attended on Earthquake preparedness for a story I'm writing, plus watching TLC coverage of that Thailand tsunami five year back.
Let me try to remember some of it...
I was in a house I've never been in. I went into this bedroom where Josh, Aunt Jamie and some other people were. All of a sudden we look out the window and see all this water. Then the big wave is coming. I grabbed Aunt Jamie's hand and closed my eyes... That's all I remember.
The fire dream? Who knows where that came from. It started with a candle burning a lot of wax, then a fire starting in the shower, but the shower was in the living room. I do not know where this stuff comes from. Next thing I know, Erik is hollering at us all to get out of the house, and I'm like, "It's just a little fire..." And he's like "NO, we need to leave." So we all leave and sit on the sidewalk.
Then I woke up to Cody snuggling against my face. He must have known I was having bad dreams.
After hopefully getting some better sleep tonight, I'll be gearing up for the LOST series finale this Sunday. We're having a little LOST party at Shawn's house — making homemade pizzas and eating ice cream cake. That's my weekend plans in a nutshell.
