Ate. Prayed. Loved.

I saw Eat Pray Love last night. I enjoyed the movie very much. I had wanted to read the book beforehand, but a last minute text to go see a movie nixed that plan. In the end, I think it better to see a movie first then read the book.

So after seeing the movie, I'm now more interested in reading the book. How inspiring (not the divorce part), but the idea of just taking a year off from your "real" life to go travel to three different countries eating, praying and loving. How does someone even do that? I mean I guess anyone can do it. It's just a matter of DOING.

I read today that the author used the money she got from an advance on writing a book to pay for her year long trip. I wonder if she knew she was going to write the book the way she did before the trip?

There is so much to see and do in our lifetimes. I guess it's just a matter of making the time to do it, instead of just wishing, hoping, waiting. Just DO.
