I'm happy dad got in to San Diego earlier because we were able to head out earlier. By 1:30 p.m. we were on the road. First thing on the agenda - stop at Blockbuster to drop off rented movie. I almost drove out of SD with a rented movie!
The whole moving van thing is working out great. We have nice bucket seats and Cody has his dog bed on the floor between the seats. He did good laying down there, but then he wanted to sit in my lap to look out the window and feel the breeze. A little bit past El Centro, we had to roll up the windows and turn on the air because it was getting hot.
We are in the hotel now after eating and a shower. Dad's enjoying some beers, we're checking the weather and Cody is finding his spot on the bed.
