Exploring landmarks.

I cannot begin to describe to you the feeling you get when you come and sit in the football field size room at the New York Public Library. It's quite amazing. I didn't want to look like a tourist, so I didn't take a picture with my phone, but this picture from the Internet is exactly what I'm looking at.

Even with most off of the seats filled, it's QUIET. You've got your person, like me, with just their laptop — pretty much killing time before class. Then you have some people with stacks of old books available here like they're doing some kind of research for a book. A lot of others look like students. They've got paper everywhere, notebooks and books opened. I think one guy has a cold because he's got Kleenex everywhere. There is even a guy playing chess by himself. You know how some people need drugs, alcohol, shopping, food (OK I need food also)... but just putting me inside a room like this lifts my spirits. The same for a movie theater.

I only wish I could bring something to drink in here. Like a coffee or tea. But, no drinks allowed.

Hey, even the seats are comfy!
