I would just like to state for a fact that:
- Right now I am finishing my last final exam ever for my graduate program. After this is submitted, I will officially be done with graduate school.
- I have not done one ounce of Christmas shopping yet and it's four days until Christmas. Good thing we're doing a family Christmas after the new year.
- Christmas was in my head when my family was visiting, but I keep forgetting because of how busy I've been.
- Starting tomorrow, I will stare at my Christmas tree (which I just got last Saturday); make sugar cookies, peanut butter balls, and a batch of chili; watch Christmas movies; read books; drink a bottle of Bailey's; and play with my Christmas gift — an iPad! I'm so excited I finally got one!

Merry Christmas Michelle. I enjoy picturing you in NY. You used to talk about living there some day when we worked at the Chronicle. Glad your dreams are coming true. Congrats on finishing school. Have a happy, healthy 2013.
