Ruby Red Slippers 102

My Halloween costume is coming together perfectly!
Tonight I did Step Two — adding GLITTER to my spray-painted red shoes. It is turning out better than I expected! I only did one shoe, and the heel of the second. I got a little tired and wanted to give as much love and grunt work into the second as I did the first. Also, it was 2 minutes to 9 p.m. and FRINGE was starting. I have way more glitter than I thought. I don't even think I'll use half of the jar.

Here's also a picture of me sewing extra fabric into the sleeves of my Dorothy costume. Stupid one-size-fits all doesn't always fit all in the right places....
It took me a total of four hours.

After these shoes, the wig will be my next big project. The top is looking a little like a mullet.

Ahhh! I'm so excited. Shawn set up shop in his room. He'll soon (I'm hoping) begin making his Lion costume. Fawn has all her fixings for the Tin Man, and Greg just got his Scarecrow costume. I was thinking that we should really enter a group contest. We seriously could win. I also have never been this dedicated to a Halloween costume before.
