I tried really, really hard to stay away from all the sick people. But, honestly, I think there were too many. Everyone was sick or under the weather these past couple weeks. Fawn caught a bug in Wisconsin, then passed it on to Shawn. (or so he says.) So I had two sick people's germs floating around the house. At work, the boss, Trish and Chase were sick. Chase had the worst of it and was only in here and there, but he left some of his germs behind. I was doing so good, was feeling good! Then I woke up Saturday morning feeling it in the back of my throat. I could blame it on baby Clay, Chase's son, who he said he got sick from. So I can't resist a baby and held Clay at our work Christmas party. It wasn't like I was kissing on him and he didn't sneeze on me. It just must have been all those little germs just waiting for the attack.
I've been in bed all day today, hoping to kill it off. I did venture out to see if some fresh air might help. It really only made me feel worse. :-( The pizza probably wasn't my best choice of food either... I guess I'm just hoping this is the worst it gets - runny nose, sneezing and a minor headache in the sinus region.
Looks like I'm going to need a Christmas miracle. I WILL NOT be sick for Christmas, thus getting others at home in Georgia sick. Cause it's not like I'm NOT going to be hugging on them. Are you crazy!?!
I'm finishing up some work now, and soon this medicine is going to kick in and I'm going to have to call it a night.
Two more days!! I honestly cannot contain the excitement of being with my family for Christmas and New Years. I've come to realize these past two Christmas's that being with family IS the BEST Christmas present EVER. :-)
