I had a really good time at the work Christmas party last night, although I ended the night with only $34 in chips. :-(
Oh well, I did go a couple rounds as dealer in Black Jack. That was very intimidating, but I think I eventually got the hang of it. My secret santa got me a beautiful scarf, that I'll definately be using in Georgia, and a gift card to Starbucks. You can never go wrong with Starbucks!
After getting home at 7 p.m. (the party started at 3:30), I ate some leftovers and fell asleep watching Mamma Mia. It was only 11 p.m. on a Friday night. What can I say it's been a busy week.
I'm feeling a little something in my throat, and I'm not too happy about it. It feels more like the start of a sinus infection. I'm taking it easy, pumping the vitamin C and liquids. I just cleaned up the house a little, in preparations for leaving. I don't have too much to do, except for making sure all my Christmas gifts are accounted for. Tomorrow though I need to finish up some work work so we'll be ready to upload Monday.
Mom and dad left this morning for Georgia. Hopefully the weather is OK. Shawn got stuck in Chicago last night, missing his connecting flight to Appleton by 10 minutes. Fawn and Greg will be spending Christmas here in San Diego. They were home last weekend and did their Christmas with their families.
