The roomies and I are heading to Arizona EARLY tomorrow morning for a quick weekend road trip. Shawn's friend from graduate school lives there and invited us to visit. I've already called the back seat behind the driver. And when I mean early, I mean that we'll be on the road by 5:30 a.m. Sheesh! But we're all really excited to see the area. It will be my first official trip, other than when mom and I drove through the top corner on our way our to San Diego. We thought we were going to die with the heat.
The weather is supposed to be sunny and in the 70s, so I'll be breaking out the shorts and such.
It's the Phoenix area we're visiting — I think. Sounds like we're going to a golf tournament and then staying for a live band. On Sunday, we'll watch the Super Bowl, and the special episode of The Office. I'm taking a half day Monday, so we'll leave that morning really early again so I can get to work by noon.
I'm sure I'll have some fun pictures and stories from the trip!
