Mom and dad have a blog set up now, but so far mom hasn't updated it. See mom! It gets hard sometimes. :-) It's called "Adventures of Empty Nesters" and is in my blog list on this page.
I had a pretty adventurous weekend. Saturday morning I headed up to LA to visit Sarah B who was in town visiting her sister. Sarah B and I go way way back to middle school, high school and softball years. She's married now with two babies and lives in Texas where her husband is in the Coast Guard. Her husband, Matthew, went to our old church in Georgia.
Sarah B's sister, who was celebrating her 30th birthday, took us to Paramount Studios for lot tour. So fun! We then watched "Hotel for Dogs" at the studio's theater. Talk about some of the most comfortable movie seats ever!

Gosh, then I had the most delicious past dish at an Italian restaurant near the Venice Beach pier. The night ended in our pjs watching The Duchess. On Sunday, the day was spent watching movies and tv, when I should have been doing some work.
I uploaded all my photos from Christmas and New Year's to Shutterfly and am DETERMINED to make a book! I'll also send the album out to you guys.....you know who you are :-) A.K.A. - my loyal readers. Happy Birthday Aunt Sharon!!!!!!!!
I should also mention how beautiful the weather is here. It was actually pretty chilly during the month of December and just this week it started getting back up to around the 70s. Ahhh...sunshine!!
