I may have been a pottery artist. You never know. I had my first class Thursday night at a studio in Balboa Park. I've been wanting to do this for a long time - start from clay molding to the final product. I thought I'd attempt the wheel right away, but I didn't. I ended up "getting aquainted" with the clay, as some of the ladies their suggested I do. But what to make?
Well, here are my first pieces. They'll dry now for two weeks and then I'll glaze them with some fabulous colors. I think next Thursday I'll attempt the wheel.
