Feeling outloud

I always feel bad for the person who gets pulled over on the highway for speeding. Especially when you know they weren't the only one going a "few" miles over the speed limit. Poor guy. That happened this morning. I thought the policeman on his motorcycle would be pulling over the green car that was weaving in and out of traffic, but no, it was a maroon car that was probably going a few miles over the speed limit as myself. :-)

Anywho, I'm still doing my drivebys after work, desperately trying to find my new home. No such luck so far. So I have another list of possibilities, and I keep checking various sources for new rent postings. I had to call dad after work yesterday for what I call my "voice of reason." Most of these places I end up liking say "oh this is available now." And I'm like "great," because I'm looking to move March 21st. So my voice of reason said if you like it take it now, move in slowly and get settled. That helped me A LOT.

Trish is taking me out for a birthday lunch today. We're going to the Chinese Buffet, and her parents will also be joining us. Yay! More Dutch conversation.

Tomorrow I'm going roller skating again with a small group of friends, and then maybe Yogurtland. It's kind of my birthday thing. I've been very indecisive about birthday plans this year. Fawn's parents are flying in Saturday night. On Sunday (my actual birthday) we're going whale watching! I'm very excited, but very nervous. The thought of seeing a huge ass fish up close terrifies me. I may never get in the water again! Fawn's birthday is the day after mine. She might be doing the Wild Animal Park safari thing - where you take a carivan to see the animals up close. I took Monday off to take my car to the doctor and to schedule some other appointments — like maybe a facial :-)

So cheers to Friday and another weekend. And here's hoping I find a new home really, really soon.

Holla!
