Today was "Company Appreciation Day" for our business complex. The ice cream truck just came around, handing out free ice cream. I got the cookie sandwich. What a wonderful day! I'm actually happier. :-)
Yesterday, I got my first TB skin test, a must for volunteering at the hospital. I have my interview next Friday, June 5. Before then I have to look through all my papers, which were shuffled in the move to find my vaccination card! Arrrrr.... It's always something. I need to get organized at home.
I am in the process of starting a new blog — Chelle's Book Corner. If anything, I'm doing it for myself. I've read so many books, all different genres, and want to share my thoughts on what I've ready, why I read it and what I think about it. I'm reading a lot more these days now that cable isn't in my home — just the basic channels. :-) This is all thanks to dad. I never thought I would be able to live without CNN, BRAVO, TLC, etc., but so far so good. Plus, these days they put all those shows on TV or online. Thank goodness!
We have a lot of events coming up for the launch of our new San Diego magazine, which arrives tomorrow morning! We all can't wait to get a copy in our hands.
