Tonight I tackled burger grilling on the George Foreman. It went well. Next I think I'll try a panini or something.I had a great weekend. Angie and her husband, plus some family stayed Thursday and Friday night. I took a half day Friday and met them at the San Diego Zoo. We got a laugh out of this sign in front of the tiger cage. I definitely have to go back because I didn't get to see the pandas, gorillas or the reptiles.
Friday night we all went to the Padre/Brewer game. I was getting confused on who to cheer for, so I just cheered for both teams. Friday night is also Friarworks (fireworks) after the game. Awesome show right in downtown San Diego from our seats at the game!
On Saturday, I took everyone to La Jolla Cove to see where the sea lions camp out on the rocks. I usually see them when kayaking. They smell, but they sure are cute and entertaining to watch.
It was great visiting with them all, and I can't wait to see them in October up north for Angie and Jim's official wedding ceremony. Good times are to be had. Ang says there will be Polka :)
