He dropped his fanny pack

(Katelyn, Drew, Jake and me at Mission Beach.)

There were many coined phrases this past weekend of fun with Uncle Andy, Aunt Jamie and the kids. By far the best was Aunt Jamie's — "He dropped his fanny pack." The condensed version of the story is... a man on a bike dropped his fanny pack next to our car as the light turned green. At the time, we were all like 'oh my gosh this guy is going to get run over.' But a few short seconds later, we were all laughing. Fanny pack - it makes you laugh right?

Aunt Jamie, Uncle Andy and the kids left Tuesday morning (to 37 degree weather) as I also headed back to work. We all had a great time together. The weather was PERFECT (high 70s)! Yet, I caught some bug and left work early Tuesday. It was finally my time to get sick after a full year (yes, a full year) of not getting sick. Feeling a little better today, and I am back at work.

But I'm already missing my visitors. More to come on the four-day weekend, as I have many, many photos :)
