Sparkles, sunshine and M&Ms

The possum: an ugly creature that likes to cross the street at inopportune times. I didn't hit this one, this time, but it sure gave me a scare when my headlights caught its ugliness as I was driving around a corner last night. 

I'm feeling wild today, so I'll go and pour my third cup of coffee. (after I finish this entry...)

For any LOST fans, today is a great day. No matter what happens today, we all have the LOST premiere to look forward too. We all can't believe that the time has finally arrived. Now it's back to LOST nights with Shawn and Kristen, and any other stragglers we may pick up. These nights used to consist of utter silence during show time, intense discussion during commercial breaks and ice cream. Word is, we've cut the ice cream. Dang. 

I have this new feeling. The best way I can describe it is like a peace shield. Like if you could use some technology to scan the aurora around me, you'd see sparkles, sunshine and M&Ms. The sparkles make me happy, the sunshine makes me smile and the M&Ms shoot out at people who want to bring me down. I mean some days the sunshine gets a little cloudy, but then I eat some of the M&Ms and the sunshine wins. I'm really overdoing the metaphors here, but the peace shield is awesome. You should get one if you don't have one.
