Happy 30 years to mom and dad

So I forgot my mom and dad's 30th anniversary yesterday. It wasn't until I randomly checked Facebook at 6:45 p.m. last night, and saw Aunt Sharon posted a message to mom on her Facebook wall, that I remembered. (Thanks Aunt Sharon...!!!)

And I had just gotten off the phone with Dana, and she said that her and Erik made dinner for mom and dad Saturday night. I was going to ask why, but I didn't.

So I quickly called mom to catch her before going to bed.

Me: Hi. Does it make you sad that I didn't remember your anniversary?

Mom: No.

Me: Good, because I'm not good at remembering anniversary's.

Mom: Me either.

........

Me: Well in celebration, I will have a McDouble no onion, no pickles and a small fry from McDonalds.

Mom: laughing...

Mom then reminded me, since we're not good at remembering anniversary's, that Aunt Wendy and Uncle Todd's 25th wedding anniversary is at the end of the month. So this is a pre-Happy Anniversary shout out! ... because I'll probably forget.
