A work in progress

You know when people say, God only gives you what you can handle? Well God must sometimes believe people are super people. Does God know about the effects of stress on the body? He must.

I like to think that God is just teaching me one of life's great lessons. Then it takes me a couple months, a year, or even more than a year to figure out what that lesson really is and means.

I'd say I've gotten the answer to many of life's lessons recently. Those times back in high school when I wanted to do something and mom and dad said no. I THINK I know why they said no now. Or when I wanted to transfer to an out-of-state college after my first year and mom and dad said no. Now I KNOW why. Mainly because it was a rash decision I wanted to make. I now know I tend to be more reactive to things. I'm learning to think about decisions more. But sometimes I think too much about something. It's like I'm damned either way. See, one of life's great lessons. I just have to work through it my own way.

You grow up waiting till you can make your own decisions and don't have to ask your parents. Soon enough, you're grown up and you're calling your parents to ask them what to do.

Ah yes, life's great lessons.

GOD does answer prayers. You just don't WHEN they will be answered or WHO or WHAT GOD puts in your path that in some way or another is going to be the answer. Your heart will tell you what is the right and wrong thing to do.

Rash decisions are ok, one just has to deal with the consequences after instead of knowing the consequences before hand.
