The 25 Days of Christmas: Day 9, 10, 11

Work. Work. Work. That's pretty much occupied my days. It's the busiest time of the year here. What a week it's been so far. Two more days to go till the weekend. I can't believe Christmas is two weeks away!

My Christmas shopping is done, with help from Dana. :-) There might be one or two things I'll pick up before I fly out to Georgia.

Fawn and Greg are in Wisconsin, with the snow. I'm jealous.

We're doing Secret Santa at work. Donna asked today if someone would be offended if someone donated money to saving the polar bears in their name as a christmas gift. Ummm yeah! Hello.

For one, saving the polar bears isn't at the top of my charitable causes list. I was the only one to voice my opinion and probably looked like a spoiled brat. But, at least I was honest.
It's not a bad idea, but be sure it's a cause the PERSON would want money given to in their name and not something just the GIVER is interested in. That's all I was trying to say. I think Donna understood what I was getting at, but then she said, "Well don't worry, I don't have your name." Hahahahha....

Thursdays almost done and gone with. Tomorrow I'm going to see The Day the Earth Stood Still with Keanu Reeves in the IMAX theater. Can't wait! I haven't been to a movie in a while. It's definitely IMAX worthy.

I have Kettlebells class tonight at the gym. It was rough on Tuesday night. My lower back is a little sore, so I'm thinking of skipping the class. Plus, I think I sometimes forget to breathe and then feel like I'm going to faint or throw up. It can be a pretty grueling class. And it's only 30 minutes.

The Christmas tree lights fuse keeps blowing.
Tree + no working lights = not good.

Oh and I gave myself a little shock today unplugging my computer to take it in the conference room for our All Staff meeting. My fingers were tingly and I swore my heartbeat was slowing. It was touch and go there for a while. Of course, I'm being overly dramatic.

On the bright side, Keith is back at work and the office coffee tastes so much better. I wasn't doing a very good job....

I agree. A donation to a worthy cause in the name of another person should be the choice of the person whose name it is being given in honor of. Whose on First? Whats on second. And I don't remember the third base person. Well the time is going fast. You just started the 25 days and you are almost half done. Happy day to you!
